We were thrilled to collaborate with Melbourne-based band Voice Among the Many on their music video for the song "Matter". The brief was to create a high-energy performance clip that would showcase the band's dynamic stage presence, while also incorporating a unique and creative visual aesthetic.

Our team at DH Media Group worked closely with the band to develop a concept that would not only highlight their music, but also reflect their artistic vision. We decided to focus on a static camera approach, using carefully composed shots to create a sense of tension and intimacy. The result was a stark, minimalistic aesthetic that perfectly complemented the song's moody tone.

Our director worked with the band to block out each shot, ensuring that every movement and gesture was carefully captured to maximise the visual impact, and avoid the typical music video ‘spray and prey’ shooting styles you see so much of today.

The final video is a masterclass in restraint, with each shot carefully framed to create a sense of depth and texture. The minimalistic aesthetic adds to the overall sense of intensity, drawing the viewer's attention to the band's performance and the emotional power of the music. The result is a music video that is both visually stunning and deeply immersive, perfectly capturing the essence of Voice Among the Many's sound and style.
